Redbox nominated for Magento Imagine Excellence Awards 2017

Magento Imagine Excellence Awards at the annual conference: Imagine.

Our nomination for the Best Commerce Launch Award is presented to us for our work with London-based premium menswear brand Oliver Sweeney.

One of our proudest projects of 2016, Oliver Sweeney was launched on the new Magento Enterprise Cloud Edition on Magento 2, in early September and was one of the first brands to go live on the recently released platform.

As a leading premium luxury menswear brand, Oliver Sweeney needed an online store which could handle their demanding merchandising and promotional needs as well as their fast growing brand. Their old site proved very challenging when it came to frequently refreshing the site and updating offers and promotions. Some of their website changes would take up to a day to update and they would constantly have to involve their developing agency. Their specific needs for the new ecommerce site led them to choose Magento’s new platform and work with Redbox Digital as their chosen development agency.

Oliver Sweeney's Director of Digital Marketing commented:

We wanted an agency who’s the right size for our business, people who are reactive. It was also very important for us to have a development team based in London. As well as their great credentials, one of the reasons (we chose them) as well, was that Redbox were partners with Magento for Magento 2.

On the new platform, Oliver Sweeney can easily update and customise the site with simple drag and drop capabilities. Launching new offers and promotions now takes them less than an hour, and Oliver Sweeney can even refresh the site multiple times a day if required.

In 2016 we were the recipients of the Great Explorer Award for International Expansion for our work on Screwfix.com and in 2014 recipients of the award for Best Site for our work on Paperchase.co.uk.

As well as the Excellence Awards we've also been recipients of Magento Awards including 2016 Digital Commerce Partner of the Year and the Partner of Excellence Award back to back in 2014 and 2015.

Our team members from London and Mauritius will be attending this year's conference. We look forward to seeing everyone there and fingers crossed we will be celebrating again!
